Cody and I had our 10 year anniversary the other day! We decided to take advantage of Cody's sky miles and fly to Miami for a cruise to the Bahamas!!!! It was a really great vacation.

We ended up taking Corbett on it but luckily they had day care on the ship so we still had some time to ourselves. The day care was great too, it was actually called a kids club and they did really fun stuff, so much that Corbett was upset when we would go pick him up.

One day they painted him up like a pirate and another day he was a superhero. So our adventure began a week ago Thursday night. We caught a red eye flight through Atlanta and down to Miami. Corbett slept well the whole time and through the layover even. Cody and I didn't do so well on sleep. I should also mention that Cody had flown in from Tennessee, through Atlanta and landed an hour or so before our flight back through Atlanta. He's been so busy with work lately he's doing a lot of traveling. So we made it to Miami and on the cruise ship around one o'clock in the afternoon. We went on a Royal Caribbean. Of course right when you get on the ship they have you start eating. The whole time you're there you can eat whenever you feel like it. I wasn't that impressed with most of the food though. There was even an icecream cone machine right by the pools. The first night we just swam, ate dinner, and slept.

The next day we ported in Coco Cay which is an island owned by Royal Caribbean and it was my favorite!

We snorkeled and I saw a black and white striped fish among other tropical fish. Cody loved it too. It was a small island with beach everywhere, a barbeque on the island, a power wheels track for Corbett

and we also played in a water park in the ocean. They set up the day care on the island so we could take Corbett there for a while and then play on the island with him too. I wanted to buy a skirt but I didn't bring enough cash so Corbett and I took a late boat back to the ship and got money and came back to the island. Because it was so late in the day we were the only ones on the boat back to the island and the captain let Corbett steer

the ship. The next day we stopped in Nassau. I wasn't that impressed with Nassau but I didn't really give it a chance. You just walk off the boat onto the island but it's more of a run down city than anything. Cody walked over to Paradise Island but he didn't really do much there, swam for a minute.

We swam on the ship every day too. On the last night they had a speed climb competition on the climbing wall.

Obviously since Cody builds climbing walls he's had a bit of experience with it. He won but there were only 4 guys doing it. He did it in almost half as much time as the next guy though. He can walk up it like he's on flat ground. The last morning we got to Miami around 7 a.m. We got off the ship and quick as we could and drove up to Orlando so we could go to SeaWorld!

SeaWorld is my FAVORITE place. I love Shamu! It was raining which was sort of a good thing. There were very few people there and we could fit everything in in the time we had to be there.

We saw the dolphin show, the sea lion and walrus show, the Shamu show (on the front row) and did some rides.

Right now SeaWorld has second day free so we took advantage the following morning we went back and

fed the dolphins and then we headed to the airport. Corbett and I flew home and Cody stayed in Miami to do a job. It was SO much fun!!! Since it was our ten year anniversary I'll also add something about the past ten years together. Cody and I have a lot of fun together. We joke with each other a lot. We've had a good marriage and we love each other. We're not a really lovey dovey couple, we "disagree" on occasion, but we are really happy together, we've had a great 10 years that I wouldn't change. We've had some crazy and fun memories!! We're so lucky to share our lives together. Hope the next ten years are just as fun as the last!
