Spies!

Corbett begged me for 4 days to make him a "padded suit".  Something to do with the movie Spy Kids.  Once I put together his outfit Konrad decided he needed a red padded suit!  (He gets this from everything being colors, i.e. red Power Ranger, green Power ranger etc. and red ninja, green ninja etc.)  I'm just glad when the boys are playing together!

Happy Birthday, Cody!

 For Cody's birthday we went on a date to HuHot, our favorite restaurant lately.  It was YUMMY!  I made him chocolate chip cookies on his birthday but we waited until Sunday to have cake and icecream and sing to him.  Right now he is coaching Corbett's flag football team, the Patriots, so I tried to get fancy with the cake.  The cupcakes were footballs and were very cute, but the cake was a flop!  At least it gave us a good laugh!

All in a Saturday...

 I volunteered at the Buddy Walk and so for part of the day the kids came and had some fun there.  They got their faces painted, got to shoot off rockets, rode on a horse drawn wagon, and played on inflatables.

 After the Buddy Walk was over we went over to the Heritage Center with the Larkin family.  We went through the corn maze, went down the giant slide, went on a pony ride and a train ride and played on the hay jump and blackout maze etc.

 Not sure we were "supposed" to go on these things but no one was on them from a company party so they let us on the inflatables that were there that day and a climbing wall and Trampoline Thing.  It was a lot of fun!

We really like the Heritage Center and have been there several times this season!

We spent a day at Lagoon!  We talked Cody into playing hookie from work and had one last hoorah! before school started.  We went with our neighbors, the Duersch family.  It was a blast!  Our kids loved it!  Below: Corbett is about to go on Wicked...
