White Christmas!

We had a really fun Christmas this year. Corbett is finally old enough to get a little excited, although he didn't really get it, he slept in and we had to force him into the living room; he kept saying, "not yet." He had a lot of fun once he went in and found presents though. Starting on Christmas Eve we went with the Larkins on a family tradition of theirs where you get on the bus and go into town. We went to Charlies for ice cream. Then we went to their house for a dinner...that I made (believe it or not!) and to open PJ's and a few little presents from siblings. My mom made our entire family matching PJs!!...that's 31 pairs. She's an amazing seamstress and managed to make them all fit ( I know you're wondering what happened to me!) On Christmas we planned to go to Idaho but Cody's parents called and said the storm was bad up there so we stayed in Logan. We opened presents and bummed around until lunch with Sandra's and Eric's families at the Larkins. We then spent the rest of the day at one house or another seeing other people's Christmas or them seeing ours. It was a fun lazy Christmas! We got hit with the storm we expected in the evening and the snow is piled high now! I hope your Christmas was fun too!!!

Santa Claus came to town!!!

We were VERY excited to receive a visit from not only Santa, but also Mrs. Claus. We're VERY good friends with Santa & Mrs. Claus so it was great to have them come. They spoiled Corbett the WHOLE time they were here. They gave him a bandana and real cowboy hat and a stick horse to ride. Later we played games with Cody's parents...who also came to town. They spent the night and we played around and got sick on junk food. Sunday night we went to the Brian & Shauna's house and got sick on junk food again and played games with them. We're having too much fun lately, I just know it's going to have to end!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas Fun!

so I finally got a little Christmas spirit! We did some fun things, had some parties and got snow so it's starting to feel like Christmas! We had a Sorensen Christmas party where we made carmel apples and chocolate dipped pretzels. We also did the nativity story. I wish I got a better picture but I will say that Corbett was one of the cutest little shepherds I've ever seen! I'm also including a picture of the cousins on the Sorensen side...a whole lot of blondes! We also had the chance to see the lights on temple square with the Brian & Shauna Hansen & their kids. It was a lot of fun but not because of the lights. The lights are great and all, but we spent two hours trying to park and by the time we got to Temple Square the visitor center was closed and the place was so crowded we spent the whole time making sure we didn't lose a kid! The good part was that we rode the trax to get to Temple Square and Corbett thought he'd died and gone to heaven! We also got to have dinner with a group of our friends at Outback...yummy! It's kind of an annual tradition with our friends and we look forward to it every year! We also decorated sugar cookies with the Hansens (Brian & Shauna & their kids)! So even though it took me a long time to get excited about Christmas this year I'm finally there. We took some family pictures for cards so here's a few of them. The real trouble is that now I'm excited I just can't wait for Christmas!!!
