Lava Hot Springs

The day after Thanksgiving we met Cody's parents and grandma at Lava Hot Springs.  It was a lot of fun.  Lately Konrad has been terrified of water though.  It took me half the time to convince him to even put on a swimsuit.  Once he did though he relaxed and hopefully he is over the fear of the water.  Kennedy took right to it.  She is trusting her life jacket all the time now and will even swim around without anyone holding on to her.  Corbett had a blast OF COURSE!  It was a fun few days, after Lava we went to their house and played cards, saw a movie, went out to eat...the works!

Thanksgiving 2012

We went to my Grandma Thorson's for Thanksgiving!  It was really nice.  Below...Corbett with my cousin Emily.  They are only a few months apart...Corbett is VERY tall.  I think I forget how young he is because of his size...
Tammy's family stopped by for a bit.   Zach and Konrad are good buddies...

Konrad's First Suit

We put Konrad in his first suit so of course we had to take pictures!  He was SO handsome.  Love his cheesy smile!  The other kids wanted in on the pictures too...it got a little silly!

PUMPKINS!

We grew these huge pumpkins in our garden this year.  We didn't mean to grow large pumpkins, I just wanted some to carve.  I must have planted Big Max though and these are what we ended up with!  (we did have one more as big as the biggest but we traded it to the neighbor for some carving pumpkins).   I can 't even lift the biggest one!

Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween this year.  We didn't know what the twins were going to be until the last second this year.  Originally they were going to be Tinker Bell and Peter Pan, so I made a Tinker Bell dress and got wings, then Cody convinced me Konrad really wanted to be Spider Man, and we had borrowed a costume for him to play around in, so I gave up on the Peter Pan idea and borrowed a Super Girl costume for Kennedy.  We took the kids to the Nibley City carnival at the last minute so we put Kennedy in an Eeyore costume and Konrad was a lion.  On Halloween my neighbor said she had a Peter Pan costume so we borrowed that and almost went back to the Peter Pan/Tinker Bell idea.  In the end this is what they wore on the actual night of Halloween.  We started the night at the stake trunk or treat.  That was more than enough candy for the twins and they fell asleep on the way home.  I took Corbett out trick or treating in the neighborhood after that.  Corbett was SO HAPPY to be Iron Man.
 Kennedy...

 Sweetest lion ever!
Kennedy got into the super hero thing a little bit!
Cody decided Corbett needed face paint so he could look like Tony Stark.  He showed Corbett how to wear his mask up on his head too.  Corbett loved Halloween and trick or treated as long as I would let him!

Flag Football

Corbett has been playing Flag Football this Fall.  His team is called the Bengals and Cody is the coach.  He has had so much fun!  We are so proud of Corbett, he is truly a unique and amazing little man!  His cousin, Coleman, is on his team but is not in the team picture.
