One Fine Sunday Morning!

In between all the craziness there are brief moments that are so fun and cute they make it worth all the struggle of raising kids.  One Sunday morning Kennedy just walked up to Konrad and started trying to help him button up his vest for church.  It was so stinkin cute!!

Corbett is such an excellent brother to the twins.
Konrad's cheezer and Kennedy's true personality!
After church we took the kids out for pictures because they looked so cute!  They didn't want pictures very bad but we did get a good one of each of them.  Konrad is a little model!
G.Q.!
And against her will she was upright and facing the camera for at least one shot!

Cuteness& Craziness

We always have a bunch of crazy pictures because things always get a little crazy at our house!  Above, Kennedy and Konrad in their new shades.  Tessa and Corbett wanted to be in the picture too...below.
Not sure about the next two pictures...

Kennedy used to love to empty this drawer and sit in it.  I guess she found it and wanted to try it out...for old times sake.  Konrad wanted to see what it was all about too!

I don't know why Kennedy sat right on top of Konrad, I'm even more unsure why Konrad let her!
For some bizarre reason we were trying on Halloween costumes...
We could not convince Corbett the lion outfit was too small for him.  The feet go to his knees...

We have to take a picture of Corbett sometimes just to show we do still take pictures of him!

Thorson Reunion 2012

I don't think I dare take responsibility for this reunion!  It was a cold, wet, snowy camping trip filled with disasters, and near disasters.  We still managed to have some fun and everyone did get their trailers home eventually and everyone was safe.  I drummed up a cowboy theme for the reunion.  Above, you can see one of the kids' favorite activities.  They split up into boys and girls and had to decorate one person in Western wear, using DuCt tApE!  It was really fun and the kids were so good at it!  Below, Corbett and his cousins Carson and Ryan.
 The usual campfire picture...
 Konrad loves to help out!
 Kennedy and Natalie...
These pictures were all taken before the big snow storm!  Cody came up with a great idea to set up our small tent inside our HUGE tent.  It was a great idea and would have worked if our HUGE tent had not broken under the heavy snow and fallen in on our little tent.  We had to run for my mom and dad's trailer in the middle of the night.  We left first thing the next morning.  Some of the campers (who own trailers might I point out) stuck out the storm though and stayed a few more days.

Kindergarten Program

Corbett did such a great job at his Kindergarten program. The other kids were just kind of swaying to the music when the kids were supposed to dance, but not Corbett! He was really getting into it! I'm so proud of Corbett. He is such a fun kid to have! We love him so much! Can't believe he's a first grader next!

Project Curbing

We recently poured a cement pad and some curbing.  It sure looks nice!  We were so lucky to have our neighbor help us out so much with it!  Thanks Josh Grover!!  We also got help from our other neighbor Marcus and my brother in law, Jason.  Thanks SO much!!  We couldn't have done it without the help!!

Fun in the Sun!

We had a warm day one day and so we got out the water for the kids.  Can't wait to do this all summer long!

Soccer - Spring 2012

Corbett just got done with another soccer season.  He was on a team with his cousins again.  Their team name was SPEED.  He played well and got lots of goals!

Happy Birthday Kennedy & Konrad!!

The twins turned 2!  We had a fun day celebrating with family.  Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen came up the night before and stayed overnight, went to church with us, and had cupcakes and ice cream and presents!!

Kennedy showing us the two dollar bill Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen give the kids for each birthday...
Konrad is excited for this present!
I wanted to take some pictures of the twins in their cute Sunday attire since it was their birthday.  This is how interested in my pictures Kennedy was.
But Konrad is a cheezer and was willing to smile...
At least she let me see her face for a second.

My sister helped me make Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head cakes...
Kennedy was not into this birthday...

We had a party with my side of the family at Heritage Park.  We played soccer, football, and frisbee and had cake and ice cream, of course!
We are so lucky to have these precious babies!

About Kennedy:
Likes to say "K" when you tell her to do something (or not do something) in the sweetest voice.  Doesn't mean she will obey.  She'll be in the middle of the naughtiest thing and when you tell her to stop she says, "K."
Likes to climb up on the counters or anywhere else,  Can get anywhere on the playground.
Can say lots of words, not all are understandable.
Likes to stick her arm down my shirt.
Has Crazy Hair! (to match her personality!)
Loves baby dolls.  Takes care of them quite well.
Takes her clothes off every chance she gets.
Likes to put on strange outfits.
Likes adventure!

About Konrad:
Worries a lot.  Says Ought oh! repeatedly when something is out of place or is scary to him.
A serious little man.
Doesn't say many words but understands everything!
Loves to build and work.
LOVES his daddy!
LOVES LOVES LOVES to have shoes on.
Likes to give a high five after the prayer.
LOVES the camera.  He'll cheese it up anytime someone wants his picture!

Both twins know the word MINE quite well.  Everything pink is Kennedy's and blue is Konrad's.  They will NOT share their bed with each other or Corbett.  Sometimes they fight and other times they give loves and kisses.

2 year pictures

I took the twins 2 year pictures the other day.  As you can see we just took Corbett's pictures along with the twins.  I was super excited with how well they turned out!

SUCH A CHEEZER!
