In Limbo!

I wish we had more to report for the past few weeks. For the two weeks following Kennedy coming home she was attached to an oxygen machine. We could hook her up to an oxygen tank and go places but we didn't do that very often. For those two weeks I think I left the house three times...maybe. Kennedy has started to grow. We had a 2-week follow up at Primary Childrens and she had gained over a pound since the day of her surgery. She's starting to develop some skills, rolls on her side and bats at things. We're grateful for her every day!
Recently I was in JoAnn's with Kennedy and at the check out a lady commented on what a doll Kennedy is. Usually I'm not so forthcoming but I blurted out that she had just had open heart surgery and that she was a twin. While the cashier (who might have been 20) checked me out he told me that his brother died when he was Kennedy's size. He also had a heart defect. He then commented that they could have saved his brother now days. As I left he told me to "treasure her".
So now she is off oxygen and her incision is pretty much healed I am starting to feel more normal and up to doing things and going places again, just in time for Corbett to start preschool.
Thank you to everyone for coming to visit and check up on us. We are so blessed with caring family and friends.  I have been taking pictures of my kids...one of my favorite pass times so here they are!

What a gorgeous family! Both babies already look huge compared with a few months ago.
