I ran the Bear Lake Half this year. It was a brutal race. I can't say I enjoyed it very much, and usually I love Half Marahons. The weather was okay for the race, but there was a storm coming in. We told the kids we would be able to swim in Bear Lake after the race but the weather wasn't cooperating. Eventually I just said that we would go down to the lake anyway. We stayed at the beach for about 15 minutes. We found a table someone had dragged out into the lake and we waded out to it. We also played a SHORT game of frisbee. We stayed in a tent at my aunt Maryann's cabin and my niece Natalie was nice enough to come with us and help with the kids.
