California Vacation!!!

We were SO ready for a vacation so we headed to California for Spring Break!  It was SO MUCH FUN!  Cody had to do a few jobs while we were there but he did them on one day and the rest of the time we just played!  As we were getting ready to leave Corbett showed up in our room with both his Mickey ears and his Seaworld hat on and said, "this is confusing!"  We got a kick out of that.
The first day we traveled to St. George through Kanab where my mom grew up.  We visited my Grandma Black who had never seen our twins in person.  It was really great to see her.  We also got to see other aunts, uncles, and cousins while we were there.  I was so happy to finally get back down there.
We spent plenty of time in hotels..
Konrad wore the Mickey ears most of the time.  These are Corbett's Mickey ears from a few years back when we went to Disneyland.  We intended on buying ears for the twins this time but apparently the inflation rate on Mickey Ears is extremely HIGH so we didn't get any.
We made Kennedy put them on but she wasn't a fan.
And since they belong to Corbett he wore them once or twice.
The first day in California we went to Disneyland.  We spent the day with my sister's family.  They were really helpful with the twins and we were able to go on lots of the big rides because they were there to switch off with.
The Winnie the Pooh ride.  At this point Konrad was really grumpy but after this ride and a rather extensive tantrum and a nap, the twins both did very well the rest of the trip.
Corbett had his cousin Carson there to hang out with!
Natalie and Cody took the twins on the Chew Chew train, the slowest ride on the planet.
Corbett was really cute with the characters.
The twins were scared of them though...
Konrad being super cute...
This was Kennedy's absolute favorite ride.  She begged us to take her on it every time she saw it.  As soon as she got off it she wanted to go again.
The Toy Story ride.  This was a favorite.
So cute!
Kennedy and Konrad couldn't get enough of the rides.  They loved them!  They didn't love waiting for their turn though.
The Dumbo ride...
Konrad always sticks close to Cody...
We spent 2 days at Disneyland and the third day we headed to Seaworld!  I love seeing Shamu!  We sat in the splash zone but Corbett was pretty put out when we didn't get wet.  I was glad that the twins wouldn't hate Shamu.
Cody and Corbett on Journey to Atlantis.   Corbett got pretty brave.  At the beginning of the trip we had to force him on Splash Mountain but by the end he liked all the big rides.
Then we went to Corona Del Mar Beach.  It was fun to play in the Ocean and in the sand.
Well, fun for most of us.  Kennedy wasn't a fan.

A picture of our picture.  This was our souvenir...
Can't wait to go back!

Looks like a fun trip - wish we could go too! I agree that Toy Story is the coolest ride (next to Splash Mountain, but that is a given), and the chew chew train is the lamest ride ever, I would think the Disney people would be embarrassed to have it there. I think if the kids can walk the track faster than the train can go around it, there is a problem.
