The Uintas

Cody and Corbett, along with my brother, brother-in-law, and nephew, went backpacking into the Uintas last weekend. I don't know a lot about the trip and what I do know I wish I didn't because they ran into lightning and lots of rain and it sounded a little too dangerous for a mom to have her 5-year-old experience. I'm glad they all made it safely. I do know they made it within 15 minutes of the top of King's Peak and had to turn back because of a lightning storm. A few did make it to the top. I think they had some fun, despite the weather. Usually I do some editing and cropping on pictures, but it is such beautiful country up there I just left them as they are...
