Races & Babies

This has been a crazy few weeks! Starting with a marathon for Cody in Rexburg, Idaho, the Teton Dam Marathon. He loved it and is hoping to run the Top of Utah later in the year. At the end Corbett and our nephews ran through the finish with Cody. He did awesome...Congrats, Cody!Corbett had his own race. After Cody's race he insisted I make him a race bib, with the same number Cody wore in the marathon...So Carson and Corbett had a few races around our house. On Saturday he ran the Nibley Fun Run 1 mile and he took third in his age group! He loved it, and was SO thrilled to have a race bib on and win a ribbon. He ran the whole way, constantly checking to make sure no one was coming up behind him.Cody ran the Wasatch Back yesterday with our family team THORSON THUNDER! They finished in about 30 hours and 20-something minutes! Here they are finishing in Park City all together....and the Team photo.Cody was exhausted when he got back. So were we!...we participated in Nibley Heritage Days while he was gone. Corbett & I ran the mile, we went to the parade, and then went to the carnival where Corbett played on the inflatables, candy cannon, & had his face painted.

So, our babies are also the craziness in our life but we are LOVING it! So grateful for these sweet, beautiful babies! Corbett is such a big helper with the babies...but sometimes he has his own ideas on what the babies need, so this time he gave them both one of his hats! They are so cute together!! Kennedy is our little princess. She's such a sweetheart. She's very mellow and patient. Her hair is turning more red each day!Sometimes we just get the closest blanket...it's much weirder when Konrad has a pink blanket than when Kennedy gets a blue one!Konrad is a fireball. He lets us know when he's hungry...which is mostly all the time. He likes to snuggle and be held. He's so cute, especially when he's just hanging out! Both Kennedy and Konrad and starting to smile a lot more...can't wait to catch more smiles on camera! So this is my blackmail picture! Corbett's cousin Carson is infatuated with our babies. He is always telling me that Corbett and him will watch our babies "when we go to the Temple." Sounds safe, right? The other day Corbett and Carson wanted to go for a walk, they loaded up the stroller with a doll and some plastic food. They also packed a diaper bag VERY full with doll clothes. My sister Sandra took them on a walk around the block and Corbett lugged the heavy diaper bag while Carson pushed the stroller, stopping every ten feet to feed the baby.
