I know, I know, I'm always the one bugging everyone for updates and now I'm the slacker! The problem is I really don't have much to talk about. I tried to get a picture of Corbett to add at least but this is the best I could do. So, let's see, I know we've been busy but I can't remember what we've been doing. We had some fun with Kiel and Jen on Sunday eating dinner and playing Pirate's Cove...one of my new favorite games (even though Cody thinks I have no game plan, I think he said I was reckless or random or something). We went and slept the night at my parents house the other day. We kept asking Corbett if he wanted to sleep at Grandma's to which he would always say, "no!" On the way down there we asked again and he said, "no, no, no, no, no, no!" Then we asked him if he wanted to PLAY at grandma's and he said, "yes!" So we finally figured it out, he doesn't ever want to sleep ANYWHERE at ANY TIME! Heaven forbid he take a nap and I get a break! He, of course, had a great time at grandma's though because my dad believes he should have anything he wants all the time! My mom (a school teacher through and through) collects really fun books for the kids and Corbett loves his grandpa to read them to him. Corbett also got a chance to play with Emily a lot this week (my cousin who is almost 2) and they've had a lot of fun together.
Well, now we got the exciting part of our week out of the way...I know we're pathetic!
We're looking forward to an exciting weekend with the Pace family though, while Rhonda & Mike go somewhere (I forget where) for Mike's 40th birthday present (you think we're pathetic, I think Mike chose to go to some horticulture something or other for his birthday).
Even though it doesn't make for an exciting read, sometimes it's nice to just not have anything exciting happening. Up until next Tuesday I'm trying to just take it a day at a time, since I have too much to do for my church callings, and then I'm going to take a really LONG nap!
