Corbett's first grade program. Below he is with his teacher Mrs. Dahle. We really liked Mrs. Dahle and lucky for us she is moving to second grade so Corbett will have her again.

Memorial Day/ Thorson Reunion 2013
We had a fun Memorial Day weekend. We went camping near Chesterfield Reservoir in Idaho. Corbett caught his first fish, (that I can remember anyway). The kids had fun playing together and with their cousins.

Farewell, Hermana Benson
I remember the day this girl was born like it was yesterday. She is now serving a mission in Lima, Peru. I couldn't be more proud of her. We will miss her so much though! I didn't think it would be as difficult as it was to say goodbye, until Kennedy was talking on her play phone to "her Kelsey". She will be a great missionary though. Good luck and God speed.
My sister in law and I made matching skirts for the younger granddaughters and my mom got them matching shirts so we had them wear them for the farewell. So.Stinking.Cute!
Grant was trying to help the girls (meaning Kennedy) agree to be in my pictures so he told them he could spin them all around at the same time. I love the way Kennedy is smiling at Grant in this picture.

Soccer Spring 2013
Corbett played soccer again this Spring. I wish we had taken a team picture but that never happened. This was the first team Corbett has been on without his cousins and also a relative for a coach. He had a lot of fun. He is naturally a defender but scored a few goals this year too. His coach was Buck Banham, and we thought he was great!

Happy Birthday Kennedy & Konrad!
Happy birthday to my sweet twins! I can't believe they are 3 already! (I can't believe I survived this long)! We had a birthday party with friends on their birthday. It turns out there are a lot of little girls around here but not many boys. Sandra made them cute cakes!
Some of the kids from the party...Tannen Simons, Alexis Grover, Tommy McNeil, Jacy Duersch, Layla Christensen (who wouldn't be in the picture without her sister Ashley), Kennedy, Konrad, & Anhder.
Kennedy loved her present.
And Konrad did too...
So cute! (Jacy Duersch, Aria Simons, Kennedy, Ali Antriyou, Alexis Grover, and Layla Christensen)
Konrad does have two boys in the neighborhood close to his age, but Tommy wouldn't be in the picture and the other one couldn't come to the party. Tannen is a good friend and comes over to play a lot but is a little older. The other two boys in this picture are cousins Brigham and Anhder, who are also good friends to Konrad.
Kennedy loved her present from Grandma Sorensen!
And Konrad did too!
My mom does two things with the grandkids on their birthday, first, they get to go out to lunch with grandma and sometimes grandpa too. Secondly, she has a birthday party once a month. She makes every one of the kids who have a birthday that month whichever cake they want. Kennedy got a butterfly and Konrad got a Spider-man cake. They loved them!
A few things about Kennedy 1. She is TROUBLE! She is always drawing on walls, making messes in the bathroom with water, cutting my curtains, clogging the toilet, painting my floor etc. 2. She is SASSY! She is mostly nice when she wants to get her way. I love her so much, but that's just the truth of it! 3. She is SMART! She can figure things out easily. She catches on to things easily. 4. She likes to wear her princess and Strawberry Shortcake dresses. 5. She loves to play in her playhouse A LOT! 6. She loves nursery and Miss Reagan's speech class. 7. She likes healthy food, salad, oatmeal, etc. 8. She is busy! She is always up to something! She is a good at pretending and often has imaginary games going on. 9. She is good at saying please and thank you. 10. She likes to hold Konrad's hand and pretend he is "her own boy". Konrad puts up with this on occasion. She says Cody, Konrad, and Corbett are her three boyfriends. A few things about Konrad 1. He is pretty sweet. He has his moments when he isn't but I can get anything out of him by pretending to be sad. He has a tender heart. 2. He loves pop, koolaid, gatorade etc. 3. He is ALL BOY! He us a superhero, tough guy, athlete... 4. He talks using mostly vowels. He and Kennedy are both in speech, but he is the one we can't always understand. He can tell us a long story and we won't understand a word. 5. He likes to pray, our house is quite humorous at prayer time, either they all pray together, or we have a few prayers in a row. 6. He loves his dad! How will I bring him over to my side??? 7. He can be intense and freak out when Kennedy has pushed him too far. On the other hand, any owie is gone with a kiss better or an apology. 8. He idolizes Corbett and often pretends to be Corbett. 9. He runs so fast and cute! 10. He potty trained in ONE DAY! I thought he wanted to be a baby forever, but as soon as we explained it to him to where it made sense, he was done! hallelujah!

Our New Fence
We worked our tails off to finally put a fence around our yard. With the help of gracious friends, neighbors, and family, we were able to install it ourselves. It was A LOT of work I am super happy to finally have it done though and we are loving it! It is hard to remember already how it was before!

Bear World!
While we were in Idaho we made a trip over to Bear World!! I put a picture of a bear but it really doesn't do the experience justice. It's pretty cool to be so close to so many bears!
They also have rides at Bear World, which were a hit with the kids!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to meet one of these in the wild!
