Easter Weekend!

We had an excellent Easter weekend!  On Saturday morning Corbett had a soccer game.  Then we went to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt.  After that we had a double baptism for Carson and Coleman.  I can't think of a better way to spend Easter than at a baptism.  I got together with my mom and we made matching outfits for all the little girl cousins so they all wore them to the baptisms.  Aren't the adorable!
After the baptisms my mom had her annual Easter egg hunt for the grandkids.

Konrad's cousin Zach is helping him find his eggs...

On Sunday our Easter bunny came.  After church we had Kiel and Jen's family over for a nice Easter dinner and an egg hunt.  It was so fun.  The kids love their cousins!

Pinewood Derby!

We are officially a scouting family!  I have been called to the Bears, Cody is the cubmaster, and Corbett is in the wolves.  We ALL had our first pinewood derby!  It was a lot of fun...we hope!  It was craziness for us.  Corbett was really happy with his car that had LED lights.

Kennedy's Heart Check

Every year we have an appointment to check Kennedy's heart function.  She passed again with flying colors.  This is an appointment I have a lot of anxiety about because I know one of these years we will be headed for surgery.  So far she is very healthy and happy little girl.  She is full of sass and personality.  She is busy, smart, and fun!
As you can see, she wasn't happy about being poked and prodded, but did everything she was asked regardless.
 Sweet little girl...

Spring Break 2014!

We had a really fun vacation over Spring Break!  We went to Zion National Park with the Paces and the Larkins.  We drove down really early on Friday, like REALLY early.  We met up with our family and explored Zion National Park together.

We spent the night at the Zion Ponderosa Resort.  We had so much fun!  Below...eating a much appreciated dinner!  We were hungry!
We got to stay in this cabin.  It was really cool inside.
We swam even though it was cold and Cody and the kids kept going from the hot tub to the cold pool.  I tried it ONCE, because Corbett wanted me to...

In the morning we let the kids ride the horses...
And they also rode the zip line (except for Kennedy)...

 Corbett on the zip line...
We met back up with the rest of the family and went to the sand dunes.  The sand dunes are amazing.  Mountains and mountains of red sand as far as you can see...

Our family...
That night we drove to Panguitch and stayed in a hotel before driving home. The Pace and Larkin teenagers kept things interesting by Christmas caroling to our hotel room.

Baby Animal Days

We love to go to Baby Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center.  My mom gets us season passes to the Heritage Center every year and the kids love it!  It's only a couple miles from our house so we go often!
They like to ride the train, but these older kids are a little bored of it so a lot of times they race the train instead.  The train is painfully slow so it's not hard to beat.
We have lots of help with our kiddos.  Samantha and Payton were there with us and were more than happy to help with the kids.

We watched a few peacocks try to impress a peahen for quite a while.  They would make noises and shake their feathers and strut around.  It was really cool!
We were there with the Larkins, the Paces, and {Eric} Thorsons.

We always have to ride the ponies...
