You know Word Girl, unless of course you don't have a child under the age of 5, but have you ever met Word BOY? This is your lucky day! Presenting our personal super hero... WORD BOY!
The other day Corbett insisted I help him make this costume. He would not let it rest. Then I was supposed to be Captain Huggy Face. I had a lightning bolt taped to my shirt but that wasn't enough for Corbett. He kept asking when I was going to make my helmet. I finally convinced him that the lightning bolt was a good enough costume. We are so proud of Corbett. He had his first soccer game of the season, his team is called Lightning Power, and he scored two goals and block two goals. Today in church he gave his first talk in primary and did an excellent job!

Tidbits...
We've been able to have a little bit of fun lately! We took the twins swimming for the first time at Crystal Hot Springs for FHE the other day. It was fun and they looked really cute in their swimwear! Wish I'd taken a picture.
We also went to Park City for a day. Cody got to ski at The Canyons Resort and the twins and I, along with my sister and some nieces, got to shop all day at the outlets. It was a fun day. Corbett got left behind in Logan since he would NOT have enjoyed the shopping and didn't have a ticket to The Canyons. Thanks to the Bensons for inviting us!
Konrad has started walking. He can balance very well and has taken up to 9 steps!
This is Konrad's new favorite smile...
Corbett saves the day regularly as our resident superhero!
Yeah, not sure about this one...
And Kennedy is our crazy little fireball!
Cousin Kelsey tried to tame the hair...
And here's Kennedy's personality in a nutshell!

I got Trouble...DOUBLE TROUBLE!
Kennedy and Konrad like to follow each other around and get into all kinds of trouble! Rarely will you find one of them without the other.

Baby Animal Days 2011
We headed over to Baby Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center yesterday. When we got there the babies had fallen asleep and we already knew it was going to be cold, wet, and muddy. So Corbett and I went in and Cody and the babies went home. It was a lot of fun to spend some time with just Corbett and me. It really was a muddy mess, but it was worth it for the baby bears from Bear World in Idaho.
We also saws baby pigs, cows, ducks, and chicks. Corbett got his face painted, like a cheetah of course!
We caught up with my brother, Eric, and his family while we were there. Here's Corbett with Coleman, Emery, and Anhder.

Wild Kratts Party
Corbet is OBSESSED with Wild Kratts. He probably spends too much time watching Wild Kratts and playing the games but he really does come up with some great information about animals. He constantly wants to play Wild Kratts and he is ALWAYS Chris and whoever he plays with is Martin. Recently we wanted to reward Corbett for some behavior so we offered him a Wild Kratts party if he could last a week without having a problem. He made it and was SO excited for his Wild Kratts party. We invited over some cousins and told them to dress as animals. Corbett kept asking me about the power suits but I (having no idea about Wild Kratts) kept putting him off, telling him how we would dress him up like a great cheetah..."but what about the power suits?" SO, luckily when Carson came he had a great "power suit" and we just copied it. We played "Don't Eat Pete" and decorated sugar cookies. Now Corbett thinks he gets a Wild Kratts party every week??
Grandpas
A grandfather is someone with SILVER in his hair and GOLD in his heart.
Our children are blessed with wonderful grandpas (and grandmas for that matter). We are thankful for them and the joy they bring to our kids!
Below, my dad with Kennedy and Konrad. My dad is always stopping by to check on us and makes sure we have diapers for the twins. He is an active part in our kids lives and I know they are blessed to have him. When I asked Corbett what he likes about Grandpa Thorson he says Grandpa does nice things, reads to him, and feeds him.
Below, Cody's dad with Konrad. Cody's dad is also a big part of our kids lives. He likes to play with our kids and finds joy in spending time with them. Our kids are blessed to have him also. Corbett says he remembers Grandpa playing with him in the sandbox and playing in the kids cubby at Grandpa's house.
A BIG thanks to both GrAnDpAs!!
